💘 I’ll blame this ‘green eye soul’ number (1) on mother nature’s wicked sense of humor. The joke goes like this; as men & women grow older, a reverse in levels of testosterone & estrogen happens.

It is as if each sex was given a chance to experiment the hormonal induced havoc the opposite side had to deal with for most of their adolescent & adult life.

Broadly considered & loosely defined, while knowing damn well, we are all different in our particular idiosyncrasies; men ‘start’ to be more sensitive & open about their inner feelings (2) as women see their sense of, shall we dare say, emotional independence to the concept of nesting lose a tad of ‘romantism’ or at least absolute devotion & abandonment to the notion of eternal idealized LOVE.

This reverse take-over in physiological & psychological make-up is one major screw-ball thrown at us by our beloved universal goddess.

It seems she has a myriad of alternate avenues designed to makes us all reevaluate our personal take on LOVE & relationships with untold benefits for one & all. Or so we hope !

While on the other hand, one could join the age old male evolutionary track to assume the traditional macho or ‘new improved’ polyamorous stance of… ‘I don’t need another better’… I need 2, 3, 4 ! How would that fly by most of U ladies and actors of our established, evolving or crumbling sociological and intricate book of love narrative ?

Until this age old mystery is resolved (& will it ever be ?) I’m left with but my favorite art form to ponder & wonder about it all and frankly, it is turning out to be a mighty fine well of inspiration for a symphonic blues goes Gershwin this side of Led Zeppelin on the theme of ‘trails of broken hearts’ is now in the works…
